A message for the people that have been baptized in Jesus name and have recieved the Holy Ghost. Quit watching the news and get you eyes on Jesus. Jesus is in control not man.

There appears to be confusion on what Apostolic means. I have read several articles on the true meaning of Apostolic. First of all, it is not a denomination. It is a faith delivered by Jesus Christ unto a particular set of believers and because that faith was delivered unto this set of believers, then that group of souls have no choice but to confess that faith of Jesus Christ.

What is the faith of Jesus Christ? We must examine scripture for that answer:

Luke 24:44-49  And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name (Jesus name) among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Acts 1:1-5  The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.  For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Acts 2:1-4  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:38-39  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

There appears to be confusion about tongues. Even though the word evidence of speaking in tongues is not in the Bible, the word gift is. Gift in the Greek means: according to the measure in which Christ gave it.

Acts 2:4 states: as the Spirit gave them utterance. It would appear pretty simple that Christ gives the utterance and to disallow tongues would be blasphemy against the Spirit. God help us in our ignorance.

We are not “Jesus Only” as that would have us deny the office of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. “Jesus Only” churches do not believe in the true Apostolic message and do not believe in speaking in tongues. We do believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one. We are Apostolic.
